questions for which you have 70 minutes to answer. To take the GED social studies test, you will need to apply concepts from the social science field such as interpreting graphs, charts and maps, as well as analyzing data and reports. To take this test, you will not have to memorize concepts, but be able to answer questions and state conclusions in the field of social studies.\n<h2>Content of the GED Social Science Test<\/h2>\nThe content tested on the GED exam is divided according to the following weights:\n\n<ul><u>U.S. society and government<\/u>: 50% of the test content deals with different levels of American institutions, the American electoral system, the role of the citizen in the U.S., current and past administrations of the American government, &#8230;<\/ul>\n\n<ul><u>U.S. History<\/u>: 20% of the content deals with American history. This is why on the GED social studies test you may be asked questions that require you to use mathematical concepts to solve.\n<h2>What Is the Passing Score On the GED Social Studies Test?<\/h2>\nThe GED social studies test is passed with a score of 145 points. If you read English content about it, you may see that some websites mark the passing score at 150 points. This is because in the state of New Jersey they ask for 150 points to pass.
